Through the Vines

Free hand and done in colored pencil... worst hand cramp ever lol! It was actually really fun drawing this, i did it for a class a while back. When i drew this I was thinking of a chapter from a book I read where the main character was trapped in the jungle, and whether he was in the darkness or the light, he was surounded by the beauty, furosity, and suprises of the jungle. Though, when the class had a T.A. who had never seen me working on the peice before look at it she thought i must have been thinking of open feilds... which is kinda true since beyond the vines is an open space(but can you escape the vines to get to it :muahaha... hehe, i was thinking more "so close and yet so far" and less "salvation is straight ahead!"), but it was really funny giving her an indepth description of what i though the artist was thinking since she didn't realise i was the artist lol! fun times, fun times! Glad I finally posted something on here!
